Josiah Queen and TobyMac Perform “Jesus Freak” at CMB

Last week, 20 The Countdown Magazine was part of an incredible event in Orlando hosted by Christian Music Broadcasters (CMB) — a week filled with performances and special moments from over 30 Christian artists!

Josiah Queen, a new artist to the countdown, recently re-recorded the classic 1995 DC Talk song “Jesus Freak.” We had the chance to hear him perform it live — but what took everyone by surprise was when he interrupted the song to welcome TobyMac to the stage. The crowd absolutely loved the unexpected collaboration.

Though Josiah wasn’t born until eight years after “Jesus Freak” was originally released, his deep love and respect for TobyMac’s music and ministry was evident to everyone in the room.
