MercyMe Shares Inside Look Into Log Cabin Recording Studio

This year marks 20 years since the band, MercyMe signed their first record deal! With numerous awards, and powerful songs like, “Word of God Speak,” “Finally Home”, “Even If”, “I Can Only Imagine,” and of course, “Say I Won’t”, it’s safe to say that MercyMe has had a huge impact on Christian music!

Their latest album, “inhale (exhale)” didn’t come together quickly, however, as it took more than two years to complete! Lead singer, Bart Millard, shared that everything from the last year slowed things down.

But, one thing they were thankful for with this project was their recording studio.

A couple of years ago the band purchased an old log cabin outside of Nashville and it became a really great place for the band to retreat and just write music for this album. Named the “MercyMe Imagine House”, Bart shared, “the cabin studio became heaven on earth for the band during this last crazy year”.

We’ve got a cool video tour of the log cabin, but it is exclusively for our 20 The Countdown Magazine Newsletter subscribers! Want in on the cool content? Sign up here! You don’t want to miss this one.
