New Album From Elevation Worship and Maverick City Music Breaks Records

Just a few weeks ago, the new album, “Old Church Basement” from Elevation Worship and Maverick City Music was released and it is already breaking records.

Apple Music shared that this album set a worldwide record for the most first-day streams for a Christian music album and a Gospel music album. Additionally, on Spotify, the project broke the United States record for the most streams in one day for an album by a Christian group and was number four out of all U.S. albums during its first weekend of release – that is amazing!

Naomi Raine of Maverick City Music says, “Old Church Basement is a reminder that God is still good and the church is still God’s idea. It’s an invitation to come back to a community that is solely after His heart, that just wants the simplicity of the Good News that Jesus brought and the genuine love and fellowship that we can have because of Him.”

We are loving this new album! Here is a performance video of one of our favorite songs on the album, “Talking To Jesus”:

The song “Talking to Jesus” is a classic song.
I can’t stop listening to it… Reminds me of my mum and how I’ve also taught my children (through the drama and questions) to talk to Jesus + praying they’ll teach their children also.

Jireh is my favorite song in this album though the whole album is so sweet and it speaks to me as an individual.
Thanking all who made this message be delivered to me.
