“Song of the Year” Dove Award Nominees

The Gospel Music Association’s Dove Awards is the biggest award show for Christian music! The 2021 Dove Awards take place Tuesday, October 19th, 2021 at 6:30pm CDT.

The band CAIN, who is nominated for “New Artist of the Year,” has been getting really excited for these awards too — and they even recorded a few clips of nominated songs for the category “Song of the Year”! The first nominated song, as sung in this clip by CAIN, is from Tauren Wells, called “Famous For”.

The second nominee that CAIN covered is from Matthew West’s song called “Truth Be Told.”

And our personal favorite was CAIN’s cover of Elevation Worship’s nomination for “Song of the Year,” called “Graves Into Gardens.”

Isn’t that so fun? There are several other nominees for the “Song of the Year” Dove Award. Here they are:
“Another in the Fire” by Hillsong United and Joel Houston
“Speak to Me” by Donnie McClurkin
“Thank You For It All” by Marvin Sapp
“The Blessing” by Kari Jobe, Chris Brown, and Cody Carnes
“The Father’s House” by Cory Asbury
“There Was Jesus” by Zach Williams
And “Together” by For King and Country

Don’t miss next week’s show where we share the winners of the Dove Awards and celebrate the wins with the artists!

I don’t know how to pick between “Graves Into Garden”, “Another In the Fire” and “There Was Jesus”!
They are ALL huge favorites of mine! ❤️
