Chris Tomlin & Ben Fielding Release Recording of Ancient Christian Hymn
This past November our team was able to attend Chris Tomlin’s “Holy Forever Tour” and it was extra special! Chris is actually from the DFW area so he saved some really cool surprises for his hometown tour stop!
At the concert, Chris shared that a scrap of parchment was discovered in Egyptian ruins.
Specialists were stunned to discover it contained not just the words of the oldest Christian hymn ever to be found, but the music as well.
These lyrics were written over 1800 years ago by the early church, and yet they are just as relevant and true today! Chris shared that he, along with Ben Fielding, had the incredible honor of arranging and recording this as a worship song. We have been waiting on this song since November and it just came out in time for Easter weekend!
