CAIN’s Taylor Cain Heads to the World Series
There’s a connection between Christian music and this year’s World Series that you might not know about!
Taylor Cain, who sings with her brother Logan and sister Madison in the group CAIN, is married to baseball pitcher Steven Matz. He plays for the Tampa Bay Rays, and his team just won the American League championship!
Now, if you don’t follow baseball, here’s why that’s such a big deal. Major League Baseball is divided into two leagues. The champions of those two leagues meet in the World Series to decide who wins the whole thing. So Steven’s team has made it all the way to that final matchup, where they’re facing the Milwaukee Brewers.
And there’s a little extra history on the line. Neither team has ever won a World Series championship, so somebody is going to get to celebrate a first!
