Luke Smallbone of for King & Country Undergoes Vocal Chord Surgery

Last week, Luke Smallbone of for King & Country shared that he was going into surgery for a vocal cord issue.

He shared, “After going on voice rest and a good bit of therapy, most of the issues seemed to clear up.. But sadly just a few weeks ago, while working on new music, the concerns and issues all came back. I booked another consultation with my doctor, and we have decided that the best path to singing and performing at full strength again is surgery.”

He seemed to have a very positive outlook on the surgery, knowing that there could be complications, but that his faith in Jesus would carry him through.

Luke’s brother Joel shared an update after the surgery saying, “Thrilled to share that the procedure went incredibly well. Luke’s spirits are high and he’s home. Thank you for your prayers.”

We are praying for him and a full recovery so that he can use his gift of singing at full capacity very soon!

May I please ask for You God to be with Luke and his loved ones during this season to provide comfort faith strength and please let it be Your Will for the procedure to work and the healing completely cure. In Your precious loving name we thank You for Luke and blessing him with such a wonderful talent that praises Your name. So I please ask for You to hear our prayers and please answer them. In you son’s loving and holy name Jesus I pray. Amen. 🙏🏻
