MercyMe Featured on Good Morning America
MercyMe, along with their friend, Gary Miracle were interviewed on Good Morning America this week. The band wrote their new hit song, “Say I Won’t” in honor of their friend, Gary, who lost all of his limbs due to a sickness just over a year ago.
We are so inspired by Gary’s strength and he shares, “This is the hand that God has dealt me, without my hands… The lord gives and he takes away and he took away my hands and feet but the rest of that verse says ‘blessed be the name of the Lord’ so that’s just the path I’ve chosen to go down for now… In this life, we all have struggles and right now in my life, my struggles just happen to be a little bit more visible than somebody else’s.”
Gary’s positive attitude and outlook on life now is what inspired MercyMe’s song, “Say I Won’t”. Check out the full interview here:
