Jamie MacDonald Named New Artist of the Year at the 57th Annual GMA Dove Awards
Jamie MacDonald had a special night at the 57th Annual GMA Dove Awards!
She was named New Artist of the Year, and when she accepted the award, she shared a meaningful part of her story.
Jamie talked about how getting ahold of a CeCe Winans record changed everything for her and helped her begin “singing the truth” over herself. She also thanked the people in the room for the part they have played in filling her heart and her mouth with truth and helping her discover her life’s purpose.
But her night didn’t end there!
Jamie returned to the stage to close out the entire Dove Awards with her song “Left It in the River.” The audience sang along as she brought the evening to a close, and then confetti filled the room to celebrate the finale.
What a special way to celebrate a brand-new artist and her first Dove Award!
