Our host, William Ryan III, and his family had the chance to see Phil Wickham and Brandon Lake in concert this week when they made a stop in the Dallas / Fort Worth area for their Summer Worship Nights!  The venue was sold out with over 10,000 people in attendance!  It is always so cool to gather together with that many members of the body of Christ for a night of worship.  

But, one thing our host, William, noticed was there was not a headliner between the two Christian artists.  From the beginning to the end of the concert, they supported each other.  They even sang backup to each other’s songs.  They were not competitive or prideful. They were just friends leading a room of people in worship together!  

It reminded William of Proverbs 27:17, which says, “as iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” Do you have a friend like this who supports and encourages you? Or maybe an even better question is – are YOU a friend like this?
